My Birthday at Disneyland

I had the opportunity to celebrate my birthday 2 days in a row. Unlike last year I celebrated my birthday for a whole week in Hawaii. This year it was all about Disneyland! We had lots of fun. On one day we did all the adult (BIG kids) ride and on the second we were stuck with the little kids ride which we were both glad we went the day before.

On Monday, Dec. 7 (My Birthday) it was poring down, raining cats and dogs. Main Street was almost a river ( more like Mark Twain) but the best of all the park was all to our self! Been waiting all year long to go to Disneyland on my birthday because I get $72 to spend on the park... free! Yey me! So did some shopping on that day but still had money left over to spend. Had so much fun with our friends John and Pam who was so sweet to come and celebrate with Robert and I. No lines and maybe the longest 20min? We laughed a lot at out pictures from the rides. It makes me want to go again with them!!!

On Tuesday, Dec. 8 some of Robert's family got to come because they were also celebrating our niece birthday Ashlyn. Also to our surprise Todd, Jessica and Luke (cute, watch out ladies) came too. On that day it was clear and sunny but wow very COLD! I felt really bad for baby Nathan (our nephew) who looked like he couldn't move because of all the clothe he had. Also Robert and I had a wonderful time with baby Nathan very friendly handsome guy- watch out ladies!!! I did some more shopping on that day with my Disney Money and had fun in FANTASYLAND.

So on that last day Robert was so awesome and he waited with me to see the fireworks by the castle. That was amazing and I got to share it with him

Overall both days added to lots of fun.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Robert and I are very thankful for every small or big blessings we have received throughout this year. We both like to start with each other for always caring and being there no matter what. Also for our wonderful puppy Opie who keeps us entertained and filling our heart with puppy love. For all the passengers who fly and have shared a second or a minute of their life with us and never giving us a dull moment. Our coworkers who make our work life interesting. For our family for always opening their doors and heart to us. The home that keeps us cool during the summer (sometimes) and warm during the up and coming winters. Robert would like to be thankful for Pumpkin Pie, French Vanilla Ice Cream, American Airlines Mileage and Yogurtland!!! Myself for Chocolate Ice Cream, Chocolate Milk, Christmas, Disneyland for all the good times. And Finally being able to have the sabbath day to remember the one who gave his life for us and Our creator. His unconditional love is always admire and a blessing to know we can all fallow.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

One Good Man

Robert and I have been very busy lately with many things but tonight we decided to have our special time and watch a movie and eat some "comforting" food. So we watch the movie One Good Man and it was very interesting and good movie. It was very interesting to see how life moves so fast with no intention to slow down. Despite of all obstacle that come into your life there's always the options- good or bad. What you always have to remind yourself through life is God and Family before anything else. We both like the movie and it was a great way to end our night.

Sometimes is hard...

Well it's been a very interesting week!I had my challenges the past 2 days and it seem like I didn't want to go through a Sunday routine but it was a good ending to a hectic week. At church this Sunday it was nice to know how important it is to have a modern prophet in this terrestrial life. It is amazing how God selects out of so many to carry our worries and pain. I am glad to know we have a modern prophet President Thomas S. Monson who's always reminding us to thrive to do our best. He loves us and always wants whats best for every one in this life.Which brings me to the recent General Conference

"What Have I Done for Someone Today?

One very creative Primary sent a large jar containing hundreds of what they called “warm fuzzies,” each one representing an act of service performed during the year by one of the children in the Primary. I can only imagine the happiness these children experienced as they told of their service and then placed a “warm fuzzy” in the jar."

Prayer

Last Sunday Robert and I had the opportunity to remind us of the importance of prayer. How prayer is very important in our life and how it is a constant reminder that we can always communicate to Heavenly Father and God. No matter where you are or what it may be, he will always be there to listen! To always communicate with him but not depend on him to always make things happen in our life. He always depend on us to continue to thrive to fallow the right path and to never give up.

It was a very uplifting class...

On 2009

Well its been quiet a while since I last post it something but here I am back to update. Just last month Robert and I celebrated our wonderful 1st year Anniversary. So we been now married for a whole year! Our wedding was wonderful and simple and very memorable.

So to celebrate our first year we decided to go back to paradise, Oahu! The Island of Oahu cast a spell on everyone that goes there and always seem to get you to come back for more of its beauty. We love the people and their lay back lifestyle when it comes to vacation and their hospitality is always the best.

We also this year added our little pet friend Opie. His a white, toy poodle full of energy and never seem to get tired. Also Robert been catching on a new hobby- Art! So we will see what his brilliant mind will come out to by next year.
